QUEZON

TBA STUDIOS (2025)

The final film in the trilogy of historical biopics focuses on Manuel L. Quezon during the American occupation. When his fight for independence from the United States is put to the test, Quezon finds himself playing the brutal game of politics to outmaneuver his rivals — including Leonard Wood, Sergio Osmeña, and Joven Hernando. In Quezon’s relentless quest for power, he ultimately faces off with Emilio Aguinaldo in the 1935 presidential elections, using charm and favoritism as both weapons and currency, in a campaign that ultimately changes the face of Philippine politics and history.

"A film about contradictions: class power and vulnerability, heroism and complicity, idealism and opportunism. It draws strength from its willingness to expose not just its subject’s brilliance but also the colonial structure that shaped—and limited—him."

- SARAH RAYMUNDO (CoverStory)

"With this final installment, Tarog continues the high technical, production and entertainment value, signature of the whole trilogy." - FRED HAWSON (ABS-CBN News)

“One of the most technically accomplished and intellectually daring Filipino films in recent years, a masterpiece that knows how to teach without preaching and entertain without diluting its politics. " - RALPH SARZA (ADOBO MAGAZINE)

"Tarog is one hell of storyteller." - ZACH YONZON (ESQUIRE Philippines)
